PRO BONO
Translation and Proofreading work for the Rosetta Foundation. This organization helps to connect language volunteers with non-profit organisations that work with under-served communities. Together with these organisations The Rosetta Foundation aims to create access to language services that were previously unavailable to linguistically marginalised communities. Texts on Education, Sports and Social Network.
Translation work for The Tandana Foundation. Translation (from English to Spanish and vice versa) of web blogs on different topics: education, medicine, gardening... Texts on job descriptions and HR issues.
Translation work for the charity AH2O, an organization that delivers water filtration equipment to families in the remote areas of Chinandega in Northern Nicaragua.

CPD:
As a translator CPD is a key factor of my career. I am a regular attendee at conferences, fairs, seminars and courses related to the world of translation. These might also include CAT tools and IT courses.
As specialised in Education, I keep up to date with all the changes in the education system, national curriculum, training, etc.
